Building a privately vetted network - Accelerating impact driven businesses

There’s never been a more exciting time to be an entrepreneur.

As a group of people/community, we thrive on tough challenges. We see problems and our brains go into overdrive on how we can solve them. The current social, economic and environmental climate is a tough one. But as Mary Heglar says, “we can either be overwhelmed by the complexity of the problems or excited about the creativity of the solutions”.

I choose to fall into the second camp and what gets me out of bed in the morning, is creating a community of founders that feel the same.

That being said, it’s not an easy ride. And sometimes the challenges seem insurmountable. From navigating tricky investor conversations, to ensuring you have applied ethical practices across the whole of the supply chain. From finding the right channel to grow your business, whilst the current D2C playbook is being ripped to shreds (RIP Instagram engagement!).

It’s a lot. I know I can’t be alone in occasionally feeling like there’s a very tough hill to climb.

But this feeling is the driving force behind our next Horizon at WONDR and our new membership.

We believe that the future of business is purpose-driven. Which is why we have created this membership to support, guide and accelerate the leaders of tomorrow, today.

We are here to democratise access to some incredible experts across areas such as sourcing and supply chains, marketing and sales, circular design, fundraising and building impact business models - plus much more. These areas are learning pathways, shaped by your imminent challenges. We want to unblock your hurdles rapidly so you can focus on growing your business. What’s more, these experts come from the field. They are operators, practitioners; they know what it’s like to be in your shoes.

The community experience

The experience we’re building for you will include:

Deep Dives

This is where we deep dive across group coaching, frameworks, workshops, AMAs, and fireside chats, all tackling one theme:

i.e. how to build a community (8 weeks)

Frameworks

Written long from concepts and frameworks to read, watch and digest in your own time

Founder Focus Group

Tackling founder specific issues such as growth mindset, leadership. Interactive workshops, clinics and frameworks. This might end up as its own pathway.

AMA

Sessions organised with experienced leader to take questions and facilitate discussion between founders

Biz Clinics

An industry proven practitioner hosts a 20 min drop-in for founders to ask about their challenges. Nitty gritty shiz

Workshops

Discussions as a group around content that the group are trying to learn, upskill or thinking differently with

Masterclasses

Broadcast live - lecture-style (Elena)

Fireside chats

Conversations sparked from founders sharing experiences. No prep necessary - just sharing from what you’ve done and your knowledge.

Usually best done with a few mentors. 40 min sharing and 20 mins for Founder Qs

Fireside intimate

Private conversation - similar format above.

Spaces

Spaces are where we'll curate content from the WONDR network and community team.

i.e. Top 50 impact VCs and what they look for

Office hours

Setup 1-1 time with mentors to discuss in a private setting

Group coaching

Mentors create a series of sessions that members can drop into that focus on a particular theme. These are a combination of coaching and workshops but allow for peer to peer learning.

We believe in community live discussions, because providing expertise is not just about a transfer of knowledge, but about being together. It’s about creating ongoing support systems that makes the founder journey less lonely.

Our founding group is a membership designed by founders for founders, and we would love for you to join us here.

A little bit more about the beta founding group:

This founding group is invite only and private. Our belief is that a community is only as good as the connections and collaborations that form within it. To that end, we want to make sure that we have strong foundations before we open it up to wider applications.

As a result, we are offering exclusive invitations to founders who are building some of the most exciting businesses in the purpose-driven consumer world.

As a founding member, the first three months are on us, and the remainder of the year will be charged at £19.99, which is 50% off the full price. In addition, we would love to offer you the following perks as a thank you for joining us at this early stage. All we ask for in return is your feedback, so that we can continue to build the most valuable community experience possible.

The perks include:

  • 1-1 mentorship for an hour with a mentor of your choice
  • Monthly brand clinics dictated by the groups most pressing needs
  • Access to quarterly pathway programmes
  • Unlimited access to demand content and courses, whenever you need it
  • Peer group accountability groups (these are in beta trial)
  • Wellbeing support sessions to ease the pressures that come with running a business and caring about the environment
  • IRL networking events (future goal depending on location of founders)

Finally, the best communities thrive when members bring their respective networks together. Never underestimate the power of people. Which is why we want to offer two referral opportunities, you choose which one suits you best:

  1. The first is one month free for every new member that you bring into the WONDR membership
  2. The second is more time 1 on 1 with a mentor of your choice.
Every new person you bring to the community wracks up 20 minutes of mentor credit.

If this sounds like the support you need, then please sign up here and I will be in touch to arrange the next steps.

If you would like to chat to me before signing up, here’s a link to my diary for a chat. I know how important it is sometimes to have that human touch point and I would love to connect on a personal level.
